I think the EPA sign is indicative of the way that the Bush admin's attitude on science needs to be put in the trash heap of history. I had read the article on Deborah Rice before and it infuriated me. The remainder of the article just shows how important it is for studies to provide full disclosure of their funding sources. I know that Obama isn't going to be able to wave a magic wand to fix the situation, but a careful selection on EPA head will at least help us to know that his policy will lead in a direction favorable to science.
